Dr. Gary Drake, cosmetic and laser dentist serving Belleville and St. Louis, has studied with many of the leading dental reconstruction clinicians from around the world. Dr. Drake’s educational background as a cosmetic laser dentist is deeply rooted in the Belleville and St. Louis areas. After graduating from Belleville Township High School, Gary Drake attended Southern Illinois University before moving on to dental school at Washington University in St. Louis. He was accredited as a cosmetic dentist by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 1992 and received his fellowship in the International Academy for Dental-Facial Esthetics in 2002. He has been serving St. Louis and Belleville residents for more than 30 years.
Dr. Drake specializes in a wide variety of dental solutions, including painless dentistry, laser dentistry, porcelain veneers, dental implants, and Zoom!® teeth whitening.
In his free time, Dr. Gary Drake performs as a guitarist with The Matrix Band. Members include Dr. Bill Dorfman from ABC's Extreme Makeover; Dr. Dennis Wells, cosmetic dentist to many Nashville stars; Kent Wells, lead guitarist for Reba Macintyre and Dolly Parton; Tony Smith, previously with Lee Greenwood, on keyboards; Dr. Dean Lodding, past president of the AACD, on drums; and Carolynn Sapp, Miss America 1992, on vocals. The Matrix Band has performed at Orlando's House of Blues, Chicago's Tequila Road House, Las Vegas' Paris Hotel, Boston's Marriott Grand, and San Francisco's Marriott.

In 1983 I graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois. Yearly continuing education keeps me updated in current hygiene developments. I am certified to use the Diode Soft Tissue laser. This laser is an excellent addition to traditional periodontal therapy preformed by myself in our office. With my certification to administer anesthesia I can provide patient comfort during periodontal treatments. I have worked with Dr. Drake for over eighteen years.
